About Us

“Simply put, girls' schools teach girls that there is enormous potential and power in being a girl.”
--National Coalition of Girls Schools

Our History

Chesterfield Innovative Academy for Girls (CIA for Girls), located in north Chesterfield, Virginia is a diverse independent school for girls.  Founded in 2014, CIA for Girls, inspires and empowers students to build confidence, resilience, and independence as they prepare to become leaders in their families, communities, and the world.
The school opened with one class of Junior Kindergarten and has expanded to serve girls in Kindergarten and first grade. The school has continued to successfully expand yearly and will eventually provide educations to children in grades K-8. The student to teacher ratio has remained at 10:1 with expansion as CIA values the attention each child needs to succeed.
Chesterfield Innovative Academy for Girls (CIA for Girls) provides a healthy, safe, and creative educational environment for girls who need an innovative means of instruction that incorporates academics with social, physical and spiritual development.
We nurture the potential in each girl to become leaders and innovators in their family, community, and the world.  We do not discriminate on the basis of race, nationality, or disability of any kind in employment, admission, policies, or programs.

We challenge girls to Discover, Learn, Communicate, and Collaborate in a Diverse, Innovative Community.
